Sycamore Coffee Bar coming to Kokomo
Hey Kokomo! Downtown Kokomo is about to have a new addition. Sycamore Coffee Bar will be operating in the same space as The Sycamore Social Club on the square in downtown but with much different hours.
Groundbreaking at Kokomo’s new Championship Park
Earlier today we were lucky enough to attend the groundbreaking of Championship Park right here in our favorite city! Kokomo Mayor Tyler Moore, along with the CEO of Henke Development Group, Steve Henke, Joe Thatcher, Councilman Ray Collins, and Dean Hockney all greeted the small crowd gathered and expressed words of appreciation and anticipated for the new development on Kokomo’s east side, with easy access to U.S. 31.

Kokomo Summer Series: Greentown Story Walk
Hey Kokomo! There’s something fun happening out in Greentown if you’re willing to take the short drive. This summer, During the months of June and July, the Greentown public library is hosting a story walk downtown Greentown and we love this idea! It combines reading an adventure. I recently took my kids to do the story walk and the loved following the map (which you can find here) to find where we were going next in combination with the fairytale story. It was great reading practice for both of my girls, and they loved the element of the ‘hunt’ to find the next pages of the book as we followed the map.
Kokomo’s top 5 Koko-go stops
Hey Kokomo! The weather has been PRIME for taking advantage of outdoor activities recently and that’s exactly what we did over the weekend. We loaded the family up in the car and headed downtown to check out the Koko-Go Free Ride. If you don’t already know what Koko-Go is, it’s a FREE bike share service located in downtown Kokomo right behind The Foxes Trail. Which leads us to the top five places to stop or things to see while biking through town.
