Groundbreaking at Kokomo’s new Championship Park

Earlier today we were lucky enough to attend the groundbreaking of Championship Park right here in our favorite city! Kokomo Mayor Tyler Moore, along with the CEO of Henke Development Group, Steve Henke, Joe Thatcher, Councilman Ray Collins, and Dean Hockney all greeted the small crowd gathered and expressed words of appreciation and anticipated for the new development on Kokomo’s east side, with easy access to U.S. 31.

Championship Park will be a multi-use facility focussing on youth sports, particularly youth baseball and softball. We are looking forward to this next phase of growth and development for our city!
