Hey Kokomo! It’s officially summer break. That means, sooner or later, the dreaded “I’m bored” statements will start. We’ve made a list of some of our favorite kid’s activities for the summer!
Koko-go Free Ride
At the top of our list, we have Kokomo’s very own free bike rental program! That’s right, we said FREE! Located downtown, at 307 S Main Street, all you need is a parent or guardian and a debit/credit card to keep on file for liability, and you are good to go! Kokomo Beach
With water slides, a lazy river, and even a splash pad, Kokomo Beach is perfect for the whole family to cool off on a hot day. Starting June 14, Kokomo Beach is open Monday-Saturday 11:00 am - 7:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm. So gather the kids and the sunscreen, and head over to Kokomo Beach for a day of fun! Wildcat Creek Golf Course Junior Camp
Is your child wanting to learn to play golf? Children ages 6-14 are invited to join Former PGA Tour player, Scott Steger, in a 3-day camp hosted by Wildcat Creek Golf Course! Fired Arts Studio
Looking for a cooler, inside activity? Fired Arts Studio in downtown Kokomo is a perfect place to get creative! Pick out your favorite piece of pottery, your paint colors, and come back in a few days to take home your masterpiece! Youth Sports at the Kokomo Family YMCA
Do your kids love sports? The Kokomo YMCA just announced that Youth Sports are back for the Summer Season! They are starting in July, and registration is open now! Some of them include T-Ball, Centipede Soccer, Basketball Camp, and Volleyball Camp! For more information, click here.
