Fun for the whole family
End your week with some fun and call Heritage Lanes to check for open bowling availability. They have open bowling from 5 to 10 p.m. on Mondays where a group of five can bowl for an hour for $40 (including those fancy bowling shoes). Bowling is an easy and fun activity for the whole family, and you can grab some food at Roddy’s while you’re there. The workshop will begin with a story read aloud and then transitions to a fun themed project related to the story “Hungry Harry” by Joanne Partis. Fun for the whole family
The Kirkendall Nature Center is operating on its winter schedule with open hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The nature center is home to many Kokomo Parks and Recreation Department (KPRD) programs and activities, including creature features throughout the year. If you’ve never visited, it’s a great place to learn more about local wildlife species, plants, and insects. In addition to preserved and live animals, the nature center has games, books, and other hands-on activities for the whole family to enjoy.
