Calling all chocolate lovers! Mark your calendars and be sure to head over to Kokomo First Church of the Nazarene on Friday to enjoy a variety of chocolate treats while supporting local nonprofit Samaritan Caregivers. With options from more than 30 local vendors, bring your mom, your sweet tooth, (and cash), to kick off Mother’s Day weekend on the right foot!

First Friday - Art Walk
First Fridays in downtown Kokomo have finally returned! This is your chance to check out all of the brand new sculptures placed throughout downtown! Find out more details about the pieces while enjoying live music and refreshments at 306 Riverfront District Apartments between 5:30 and 7 p.m. Throughout the evening, multiple downtown businesses will also be offering art-themed activities for the whole family. Help show these downtown businesses some love by shopping local this Friday.

Mother/Daughter Yoga Trapeze Class
Feeling adventurous? Try something new with mom this weekend with a yoga trapeze class at Sunspot Natural Food Market in Kokomo! Officially known as “TraPoga” this class takes aerial silks and combines it with yoga to make for a fun time hanging out with mom (pun intended). Attention moms and the 21 and older crowd — get ready to rock out with Pressed in Black: Live at The Coterie on Saturday night! Enjoy a craft cocktail and live music with mom and her friends starting at 9 p.m. Don’t forget to show the bartender that you like us, The Kokomo Post, on Facebook for a FREE drink!
