The Kokomo Post Online Coloring Contest- Valentine’s Day

Get ready for some holiday fun with The Kokomo Post's exciting online coloring contest designed for families! We've partnered with talented local artist Kirstyn Colbert to bring you a unique coloring illustration that your kids can transform into their very own masterpieces.

Featured in the Valentine’s Day edition of The Kokomo Post coloring contest is a charming illustration of a Kokomo icon, Willy the Whale. This beloved whale resides in Foster Park in downtown Kokomo and is depicted in the Valentine’s Day card illustration with the text “I Willy love you.”

We caught up with Colbert to learn more about the talented local native. Kirstyn is a full-time artist in Kokomo who has been honing her craft since she was a young child.

“Art has always been inside me,” said Colbert. “I love sharing my artwork, and now I have a chance to let so many kids color on my artwork for free. I'm so happy about it.”

You can explore more of Colbert’s artwork by visiting her social accounts, Kirstyn Colbert Artworks on Facebook and KCOLBERTartworks on Instagram.

Join us in celebrating creativity and community spirit by participating in The Kokomo Post’s Valentine’s Day coloring contest. Let your kids unleash their artistic talents and bring Willy the Whale to life with vibrant colors and imaginative designs!
