Heidi’s Hidden Gems - Reopening of a Beloved Kokomo Restaurant
Cue the sizzling sounds and the aromatic wafts of applewood smoke – our beloved Hawg Heaven is making a triumphant return!
After what felt like an eternity of anticipation, the doors are swinging open once again to welcome patrons back to a paradise of mouthwatering meats, signature sauces and the unmistakable warmth of genuine barbecue hospitality every Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 425 W. Defenbaugh St., Kokomo.
The hiatus may have left us hungry, but fear not – the new owners have been diligently preparing the same recipes you know and love and beginning to serve Kokomo’s loyal customers the deliciousness of pulled pork, brisket, ribs and more.
The new owners of Hawg Heaven, Bruce Rood, Alan Davidson and Jeff Davidson are using the same recipes to make the BBQ you know and love from the previous owners, Carol and the late Mike Wills.
