Christmas at the Seiberling

Each year this iconic Kokomo landmark transforms into a winter wonderland! It’s nearly impossible to miss the Seiberling Mansion dripping in lights when driving by on winter nights, but what if we told you the inside is even more impressive than the outside? Be sure to tour Christmas at the Seiberling this holiday season to check out more than a dozen decorated rooms by 17 different designers! Maybe you’ve been to Christmas at the Seiberling before and think you’ve seen it all? We’re here to tell you that you have not! Each year, the themes are different. City of Lights at Highland Park

The tradition lives on at Highland Park! Now through the end of the holiday season, you can load up your car with the whole family, turn up your favorite holiday jams and drive through the park to see the light display! And, as always, at the end of the display you can expect Santa Claus himself with candy canes in hand to pass out!

Highland park is located at 900 W. Defenbaugh St.

Ice skating at the Frozen Sandlot

For the last several years, the Kokomo Jackrabbits aren’t the only ones gracing the field at Kokomo Municipal Stadium. During the winter months, we say goodbye to the mounds and hello to ice as the baseball stadium transforms into the Frozen Sandlot! What’s cooler than ice skating at a baseball field? Photos with Santa

You better not pout, I’m telling you why… Because Santa is waiting for you at the Markland Mall during the month of December to hear what you want for Christmas and to smile big for a photo on his lap in the big red chair! You can stop by the Markland Mall now through Dec. 24 for a picture with Santa or you can reserve a spot online by clicking here.

Greentown Lions Club Christmas Lights Display

While this one isn’t in Kokomo, it’s just a short drive away! Are you missing the grand displays that were once at We Care Park? Get a little bit of nostalgia at the Greentown Lions Club Christmas Light display. They have purchased several iconic We Care Park displays and lights that you are sure to recognize and more! The display is open from 6-9 p.m. Thursday through Sunday every weekend until Christmas and then every night Dec. 15 through Dec. 24. For more details, click here.

Letters to Santa at The Kokomo Post

For the past three years, the Kokomo Post has offered Letters to Santa, and each year it gets bigger and better! This year, we have teamed up with our friends at Robert Miller & Son Furniture to help make this the holliest, jolliest Christmas ever! You can fill out an online form by clicking here or hand write Santa a letter (for the official Santa letter form click here) and the Elves will magically whisk your Christmas list to St. Nick himself, all the way at the North Pole. “Wranglergram” from Wrangler & Friends

Out of all of the things on the list, this one might just be the most adorable! Send your loved one a “Wranglergram” this year! Wrangler is a well-known pony that travels around Kokomo and the surrounding areas for events, parties and more putting smiles on the faces of people young and old! During the holiday season, the pony transforms into a reindeer and you can gift someone a “Wranglegram” where pony-turned-reindeer, Wrangler will show up in festive holiday attire. You can groom the reindeer-pony, feed him holiday treats and take some adorable Christmas photos! For more information, click here.

Willis Christmas Light Show in Russiaville

When you’re driving around Kokomo and surrounding areas checking out all of the Christmas light displays, be sure to add this one to your list! The Willis Christmas light show in Russiaville offers an experience like none other! Your family is sure to enjoy this impressive display with animated talking lightbulb characters, Disney-themed performances, fun music and more! The show lasts about 20 minutes, so park your car, crank the heat and enjoy the show! For more information and directions click here.

Sleigh on Sycamore

This weeklong event is brand new to downtown Kokomo and is not for the kids. In fact, The Coterie may be the place where all of the adults on the naughty list gather this holiday season. For one week only, The Coterie will transforms into a Christmas pop-up bar! You can expect a festive atmosphere, drink and food menu and fun holiday events!
