Little Free Art Gallery, 525 W. Ricketts St., Kokomo TKP Photo

  • Visiting the Little Free Art Gallery at Highland Park - Take (or leave) art supplies to create your masterpiece!

  • Visiting Artist Alley - Bundle up and take a stroll through Artist Alley in downtown Kokomo!

  • Making Bath Bombs at Buff City Soap - Kids can make 1/2 bath bombs for free every visit!

  • Visiting Kirkendall Nature Center at Jackson Morrow Park - Winter hours fro Sept. 1 through April 30:

  • Wintertyme Village at Kokomo Municipal Stadium 
    Open Saturdays from 2-7 p.m. and Sundays from 1-7 p.m. at the Kokomo Municipal Stadium, 400 S. Union St., Kokomo; Admission is free. 

    Shop from vendors and enjoy activities every night in the village; Some activities will include decorating a Christmas cookie with Mrs. Claus, writing a letter to Santa, visiting with Santa in the Santa House and light displays.

  • The SOL House, also known as the Spirit of Life House, has had a few different occupants throughout the years but recently was renovated and reimagined as a place where people can come to do spiritual work, meet as groups or by themselves and enjoy a quiet and serene space to unwind and embrace something new. Check out their children’s reading room for a fun place to get cozy with a book.

SOL Books and Gathering Place is located next to Rhum Academy of Music, across from Foster Park at 510 W. Superior St., in Kokomo.

  • City of Lights in Highland Park

    • Where: 900 W. Deffenbaugh St. Kokomo

    • When: 6 to 10 p.m. now through Dec. 24

    • Cost: Free, but donations help the Kokomo Family YMCA.

  • Outdoor Light Display at The ConneXion Church

    • Enjoy an outdoor light display presented by The ConneXion Church!

    • When: 6 to 9:30 p.m. Now through Dec. 27

    • Where: The ConneXion Church 700 E. Southway Blvd., Kokomo

  • Greentown 4-H Fairgrounds

    • Where: 790 N. Meridian St., Greentown

    • When: Through Dec. 25

    • Cost: Free

  • Sharpsville Lights

    • Where: 422 W. Meridian St., Sharpsville

    • When: Monday through Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 6 to 11 p.m. Lights will be on from Nov. 24 to Dec. 30 - Make sure to turn your radio to 99.1 to listen to music coordinated to the lights for the 45-minute show.

  • Frankfort Holiday Lights in TPA Park

    • Where: 1 Adrian Marks Drive, Frankfort

    • When: 6 to 9 p.m. through Jan. 1.

    • Cost: Free

  • Willis Christmas Light Show

    • Where: The best view is from the Northwest corner of Western Intermediate School’s parking lot. Tune into 91.3 FM on your car’s radio to hear the music that goes along with the show!

    • When: 6 to 9:30 p.m. from now until early January

  • Festival of Lights at TPA Park in Frankfort 

    • A drive-thru light display is open each evening at TPA Park, 1 Adrian Marks Dr. in Frankfort, until Jan. 3. Santa arrives Mondays, Wednesdays and Christmas Eve. This is free to attend daily with a one-way route entering from Kyger St.

Celebrate the winter solstice with a bonfire, live music, crafts and caroling. This event is open to all ages and highlights the cultural significance of this natural phenomenon.



FREE Nights at Christmas at The Seiberling Mansion

It’s nearly impossible to miss the Seiberling Mansion dripping in lights when driving by on winter nights, but what if we told you the inside is even more impressive than the outside?

Note—Admission is FREE during evening hours in December from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays for the first three weeks of December.

This year's free admission dates are:

Letters to Santa at The Kokomo Post

The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Kokomo, Wells & Sons Custom Constructs, and The Hobson Kokomo have teamed up with The Kokomo Post to help make this the holliest, jolliest Christmas ever.
