Newly located inside Faith Presbyterian Church at 1608 Kirk Row (door 3), the Very Early Childhood Education Center offers Kokomo families a warm, enriching environment that’s focused on sparking curiosity, building foundational skills and nurturing a love of learning.
More than just a place for play, the Very Early Childhood Education Center is designed to prepare children for kindergarten with programs that go beyond the basics. Think Kindermusik, engaging storytime sessions, imaginative play, hands-on educational activities and even a free monthly book bag for every young guest under six.
The Very Early Childhood Education Center isn’t just about filling the day with fun activities; it’s about planting the seeds of lifelong learning. With a newly added outdoor area, families now have more flexibility to stay a bit longer, enjoy a snack, or take part in outdoor activities.
One of the standout features at the Very Early Childhood Education Center is the monthly book bag program, which offers each young visitor a new book paired with an age-appropriate craft or science activity—perfect for fostering a love for reading and hands-on learning.

For a safe, family-friendly environment, the Very Early Childhood Education Center doors are kept locked, and guests are warmly greeted by staff or volunteers when they ring the doorbell.
Upon entering, families can sign in, choose their preferred play area and begin exploring. Each child receives a complimentary snack and everyone leaves with a free book to take home.
