Located on Markland Avenue, the newly opened F Bomb Energy drive-thru has transformed the space once occupied by Black Wax Cafe into a vibrant stop for refreshment lovers on the go. While the record store has been left behind, the spirit of energizing and flavorful offerings remains strong with the new business under the same ownership, just with a new name.
F Bomb Energy serves a wide range of beverages designed to suit any taste. According to owner William Black, the limited space at the new location made it challenging to recreate the atmosphere of the original Black Wax Cafe—the popular coffee shop and record store on North Washington Street.
As a result, the business rebranded to continue offering beverages available exclusively through the drive-thru.
