The Kokomo Post Sports - Game of the Week: Western Panthers vs. Linton-Stockton Miners (Photo Gallery)
Last week’s Kokomo Post Sports Game of the Week, partnered with Robert Miller & Son Furniture, took us to the Western High School football field to see the Western Panthers take on the Linton-Stockton Miners. The Miners scored a quick touchdown in the first few minutes of the first quarter, and the Panthers had a tough start by giving up a two separate touchdowns to the Miners during the first and second quarters. Despite a tough start, the crowd and student section was electric, cheering on their team throughout the entire game. The Miners would go on to score 14 points in the fourth and end the game in the Miners favor at 26-7.
