The Kokomo-Howard County Public Library is hosting a “Noon Year’s Eve” event at the KHCPL Russiaville branch. Designed for kids who might not stay up until midnight, the celebration includes games, dancing, and a countdown to noon complete with a balloon drop. The event provides a family-friendly way to ring in the new year during the day.
New Year’s Eve Celebration
Celebrate Recovery Crossroads
Tuesday, Dec. 31 | 5 to 11:30 p.m.
Celebrate Recovery Crossroads will hold its fourth annual New Year’s Eve Celebration, featuring an open house from 5 to 11:30 p.m. with games, karaoke, and refreshments. Following the open house, attendees will gather for midnight worship in the auditorium to welcome 2025 together.
Rockin’ Cosmic Family Party
Heritage Lanes
Tuesday, Dec. 31 | 6:30 to 9 p.m.
Heritage Lanes will host an all-night New Year’s Eve party, with family cosmic bowling available from 6 to 9 p.m. Lanes can be reserved for up to five people for $150, including unlimited bowling and shoe rentals. A DJ, party favors, and dining options from Roddy’s will enhance the celebration. Contact the bowling center to reserve your lane.
New Year’s Who-bilation Celebration

Fired Arts Studio is having a Who-bilation where families can enjoy treats, crafts, and family time before the Downtown New Year’s Eve celebration. You can purchase tickets online to save your seats for a staff-instructed 12-inch by 12-inch themed canvas painting experience and Grinch medallion craft. You’ll even get to meet the mean one during this fun holiday event.
Swiftie New Year’s Concert

Tuesday, Dec. 31 | 8 p.m. to midnight
Swifties can ring in the New Year with an Eras-themed concert featuring Nashville artist Claire Radel at 8 p.m. followed by the Tortured Poets Band’s three-hour Eras Tour tribute from 9 p.m. to midnight. Enjoy a bracelet-making station, food and mocktails by Diced Tea Bakery, and a hat bar led by local artist Annie Lightsey. Tickets are available for purchase online.
Downtown Kokomo New Year’s Eve Celebration

Tuesday, Dec. 31 | 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
The City of Kokomo and the TechnoKats Robotics Team will make this New Year’s Eve unforgettable with the return of the beloved midnight ball drop. With the help of the Kokomo Fire Department, the ball will be raised and dropped at midnight using a firetruck on Sycamore Street. The celebration officially kicks off at 11 p.m., featuring a live DJ, warm drinks, and snacks. This is a free, family-friendly event you won’t want to miss.
Countdown to Noon
The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis
Tuesday, Dec. 31 | 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Celebrate New Year’s Eve with your family at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. Enjoy countdowns at noon and 1 p.m. with live music by Grammy-nominated children’s musician Zak Morgan, party supplies, and special activities marking the museum’s 100th birthday. Admission includes access to these events and three floors of exhibits, including the seasonal WinterFaire. Visit the museum for a festive day filled with fun and exploration!
