On Friday evening, we caught the girls’ varsity game at Memorial Stadium to see the Lady Kats from Kokomo High School take on the Lady Giants of Marion High School. From the outset, the Lady Kats took an early lead finishing out the first quarter 18-11 and maintained a strong lead. After halftime, the Lady Giants would do their best to close the gap. The Giants’ Nyomi Hahn and Jaylee Townsend scored a collective 39 points, but in the end the Lady Kats took the victory 56-44.
