This week’s Kokomo Post Sports Game of the Week, partnered with Robert Miller & Son Furniture, took us to IU Kokomo, on Saturday afternoon, to see the Cougars take on the Crimson Pride from IU Columbus. The Cougars came into the game with some momentum from their 6-game win streak. It was clear from the get-go that the Crimson Pride were ready to play by keeping the Cougars from taking any lead in the first half. The Crimson Pride kept the game within a winnable range through shots from beyond the arc, speed, and effective rebounding. After the break at halftime, the Cougars, implemented a plan to get shots to fall and keep control of the ball. They slowed the game down, and it broke up the momentum the Crimson Pride had created. The Cougars were able to do what they do best, win. The Cougars added to their win streak with a 109-68 victory over the Crimson Pride.
