Don't let mediocre cans of soup get you down this soup season. Check out some of our favorites throughout Kokomo!

Ramen from Tokyo Cuisine

Pork belly ramen with soft-boiled eggs, noodles, Narutomaki (a type of fishcake) and so many other flavors hits the spot during these chilly winter months!

Next time you want to switch up your soup game, this is one to add to your list.

Wonton Soup from Jay’s Authentic Thai Cuisine

Soup season is here and on any given cold night in Kokomo, you can find us curled up on the couch with the wonton soup from Jay’s Thai.

It’s a tasty broth-based soup full of steamed wontons, bean sprouts, and scallions. Jay’s has a signature chicken and vegetable soup stock that makes this soup extra scrumptious.

Add this dish to your fall list of must-tries this winter!

Minestrone from Martino’s Italian Villa

For almost 60 years, Martino’s Italian Villa has been serving what is known by many as the best soup in Kokomo. With rich beef broth, Italian seasonings, vegetables, and your choice of pasta, this soup will surely hit the spot! Enjoy a bowl of soup with your meal, or order a quart of soup to share. The choice is yours!

Pho with Rare Steak and Lean Brisket from Pho Nguyen

Maybe you aren’t a fan of traditional soup or you’re in the mood to try something new. If that’s the case, you need to head over to Pho Nguyen! Located at 17th Street in Kokomo, Pho Nguyen is Kokomo’s premier Vietnamese restaurant. If you don’t know, pho is a type of soup that usually consists of bone broth, rice noodles, spices, and thinly sliced meat — and it’s DELICIOUS.

Pho Nguyen is located at 245 S. 17th St., Kokomo

Caldo de Pollo

El Borrego might be known for its epic tacos, but if you're sleeping on the Caldo De Pollo, you're missing out. This soup comes in a giant bucket, filled with flavorful chicken broth, rustic potatoes and carrots and a small ear of corn -- plus an entire bone-in chicken thigh. On the side is a plate of finely chopped cilantro, onions, lime wedges, dried peppers and corn tortillas to top this delicious, homestyle dish. Our office always adds a bit of El Borrego's hot sauce to give the soup an extra kick, but it's great with or without spice.

El Borrego Carniceria y Taqueria is located at 314 S. Union St., Kokomo

Windmill Grill
