It’s easy to say that Kokomo is so boring when you don’t know what’s going on in town. Even our kids love telling us how dull life can get when your days all look the same. We’re here with a new weekly fun calendar, hoping to encourage you and your family to try something new and experience more of what Kokomo has to offer. Here’s something you can do with your kids every day this week! Take a look and tell them we sent you!


  • Monday, Oct. 28, 2024

    • Howard County Sheriffs Office Trunk-or-Treat
      1800 W. Markland Ave., Kokomo, IN 46901
      For kids and families of all ages

      The Howard County Sheriff’s Office will host its second annual trunk-or-treat from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at 1800 W. Markland Ave. in Kokomo. This is a festive way to celebrate the holiday safely, with decorated trunks, plenty of treats, and other activities for everyone to enjoy.

  • Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024

    • Discovery Center-Osmos at KHCPL Main | 4 to 6 p.m.

      Recommended ages 8-13

      The Discovery Center at KHCPL Main offers kids ages 8-13 a fun after-school activity and a chance to make friends while exploring STEM-related projects. This week, youth will have the opportunity to play Osmo games. The Discovery Center is open weekly and rotates through different activities. If you miss out this week, be sure to check out the events tab on the KHCPL website and look for the orange and blue lightbulb.

  • Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024

    • Have a Nerf War at The Zone | 3 to 9 p.m.

      Instead of having darts all over your house, take your kids to play with their favorite Nerf guns at The Zone. During open hours, you can stop by and play for $10 per hour or arrange a private event. The lighting and atmosphere make it feel like a real party. The Zone also offers laser tag and GellyBall for your group or next event. Be sure to call or visit The Zone’s website for more information.

    • Happy Halloween!
      City Wide Trick-Or-Treat Hours 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 30 AND 31!

      Whether you plan to go out in a stylish costume or stay in and share treats with your neighbors, Wednesday and Thursday night are Trick-or-Treating nights. Enjoy a safe and fun Trick-Or-Treating experience this year nearby or by checking out our 2024 Halloween Guide. Don’t forget to take your kids by Cone Palace in their costumes for a special treat!

  • Friday, Nov. 1, 2024

    • Storytime and Pottery Painting at Fired Arts Studio | 11 to 12:30 p.m.

    This is a workshop where little artists ages 3 and up are welcome to express themselves by decorating a beautiful piece of pottery at Fired Arts Studio with a parent or guardian. The workshop will begin with a story read aloud and then transitions to a fun themed project related to the story. A reservation is required because seating is limited.     • Chess Club at the Carver Community Center | 4 to 6 p.m.

    The Carver Center is excited to offer the chance for local youth to learn and grow their Chess skills and strategy. All ages and skill levels are welcome, but please bring your own board if you have one. Chess club is another benefit of your Carver Community Center membership with discounted rates. Others we aren’t members are welcome to join in for just $10 per week or $15 per month. Parents are encouraged to stay and play too. You can follow the Carver Center’s Facebook Page for updates or give the center a call for more information and to get registered.

  • Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024

      Fun for the whole family

    Check out Gravity Trampoline Park on Sundays for open jump from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and salvation from 6 to 8 p.m.. Open jump allows the whole family to jump around the entire park listening to the top music hits at $15 per hour of jump time. Later in the day salvation jump time gives you access to the trampoline park for $12 with your favorite worship music playing.
