An iconic local restaurant is relocating to a new location in September.

Don Pancho’s Mexican Bar & Grill made an announcement through social media on Aug. 16 announcing it will cease operations at the 1833 S. Plate St. location.

According to manager Jacob Macias, the last day in the current space will be on Sunday, Sept. 3, however the restaurant is set to relocate to 1527 Home Ave. and reopen a week later. The new space was previously home to Home Plate Bar & Grill, which opened in late 2022.

Macias said the restaurant will continue serving the same food with the same staff at the new location.

“We’re excited to get into a new space and really make it our own,” said Macias.

In the meantime, make sure to stop by the current location of Don Pancho’s to get your fix before they close this location on Sept. 3!
