Fun for the whole family
Our local bike share is open for the season. Get ready to KokoGO! This is a great way to explore downtown Kokomo with family or friends. To rent a bike, you must be 18 years old, provide a state-issued ID, and have a credit/debit card held on file in case of fees. The bike share has expanded to offer adult, children’s, trikes, tagalong and tandem bikes as well as helmets and bike locks. You can find more details on the City of Kokomo-Parks Department Website.

The staff at Fired Arts Studio is so happy for summer and have some special nature-themed art projects during the second week of Kids Summer Camp. This week of camp will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. You can choose to participate in all three days and save or register for individual days. Share the nostalgia of playing at the arcade with your family this week. Scanlines Arcade is located just off of Dixon Road and is open from 3-10 p.m. on Wednesdays for a ton of fun. On Wednesdays pinball games are set to only $0.50 per game! They have many pinball games, but also some classic and new arcade games made to test your skills. Each session will offer a variety of activities designed for different age groups so everyone can be part of the adventure. This event is one of many library programs you won’t want to miss this summer!
Enjoy an interactive meet and greet experience with two wilderness explorers. This event will be held once at all three of our KHCPL locations and is recommended for youth ages 3-13. Participants will hear stories and learn about camping, first aid, and the wilderness. Your family will be ready for your next adventure after this fun event. The experiences at KHCPL South and KHCPL Russiaville will be held outdoors, so bring a blanket or chair.

Fun for the whole familyCheck out Gravity Trampoline Park on Sundays for open jump from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and salvation from 6-8 p.m. Open jump allows the whole family to jump around the entire park listening to the top music hits at $15 per hour of jump time. Later in the day salvation jump time gives you access to the trampoline park for $12 with your favorite worship music playing.
