It’s July and the Kokomo Farmers Market will be open each weekend downtown. You might not normally consider the Farmers Market to be a “fun” thing for kids to do, but ours definitely is. The Kokomo Farmers market invites performers and demonstrations to be present each weekend and the Farmer’s Market Committee has a special tent with a hands-on activity for kids. The activities are a lot of fun and relative to learning about gardening, making healthy food choices, and more. That’s not even the best part though, when your child participates they will receive something special to do some shopping at the market alongside you. This weekend, the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library will be at the Farmers Market with the Bookmobile! Be sure to follow The Kokomo Farmers Market on Facebook for last minute updates.
