We’re here with a new weekly fun calendar, hoping to encourage you and your family to try something new and experience more of what Kokomo has to offer. For caregivers of babies 0-12 months old and older siblings
The New Baby Bunch meets weekly on Mondays at KHCPL South. This group is a great place to meet fellow caregivers. Being a first-time parent or caregiver can be difficult so this group is available to all looking for friendship, support, and the chance to share in their parenting journey. The Very Early Childhood Education Center, the ultimate play space for preschoolers, offers open play hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday each week. On Thursdays from 10:30 to 11 a.m., Rhum Academy of Music hosts a special music program for kids at the center. This free, public resource center provides many opportunities for play and learning. The play space includes toys, structures that inspire imaginative play, and hands-on learning activities that encourage building and engineering. Fun for the whole familyCheck out Gravity Trampoline Park on Friday for toddler time from 4 p.m.to 5 p.m. and family time from 5 to 8 p.m. Toddler time is a sensory hour with a slower pace and lower kid-friendly music. For only $8 you and your child (ages 6 and under) can jump and play into the weekend. Family time follows where families can jump and eat for $15 per hour and each jumper gets a free pizza slice and a drink. They have open bowling from 1 to 8 p.m. on Sundays where a group of five can bowl for an hour for $35 (including those fancy bowling shoes). Bowling is an easy and fun activity for the whole family, and you can grab some food at Roddy’s while you’re there.
