The Kokomo Post Sports - Boys and Girls Varsity Swimming - Northwestern Tigers vs. Tipton Blue Devils (Photo Gallery)
We took a trip, on Thursday night, to Northwestern High School to see the Tigers take on the Blue Devils from Tipton High School. Throughout the mix of events each team had their strengths. The Blue Devils girls started out strong with the top two finishes in the Girls 200 Yard Free. The Tigers had success in the Boys 200 Yard IM by taking first and third. Sam Martin stuck out in this event with a total time of 2:18.71, roughly 14 seconds ahead of second place. The Blue Devils also took first and third in the Girls 100 Yard Back with Tragesser Lorelai leading the pack with a total time of 1:09.08. The Tigers also performed well in the Boys 100 Yard Breast taking the top two placements. Great performances from both teams. Check out this photo gallery from the event.
