On Saturday, the Indiana University Kokomo Cougars volleyball team took on the Indiana Tech Warriors for the first round of the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Championship. With a great start in their first match, the Cougars quickly took a big lead and pulled the first set win 25-13. The Warriors showed they weren’t going to go too easily, and they responded with a quick lead into the second set. The Cougars started to catch up, but the Warriors took the second set 25-20. The Cougars shut it down by taking the next to sets to take the win with scores of 25-11 and 25-18. The Cougars are officially on their way to the final site of the championship at Sioux City.
