On Thursday night, the Northwestern High School Tigers took on the Whitko Wildcats on Northwestern’s Volleyball Senior Night. Playing steady and determined, both teams responded to one another taking one set each initially. After the Tigers took set three, the game looked like it was over. The Wildcats, behind more than 5 points in the last minutes of the fourth set, went on a tear, catching up to the Tigers to take the set. The Tigers were relentless and hungry to finish out the game with several recoveries and deep one-arm digs to take the last set, and the game.
