The Kokomo Post Sports - Game of the Week: Eastern Comets vs. Northwestern Tigers (Photo Gallery)
Last week’s Kokomo Post Sports Game of the Week, partnered with Robert Miller & Son Furniture, took us to Eastern High School to see the Eastern Comets take on the Northwestern Tigers. The two hometown teams faced each other Friday night, and after some thunderstorms they finished the game out on Saturday morning. Northwestern packed it on hard the first half on Friday, with a score of 33-13. After putting a pause on the game due to inclement weather, the Eastern Comets outscored Northwestern in the second half by two points, and 14 of their final 27 came in the last quarter. Northwestern put on a consistent performance with 6 points in both the third and fourth quarters.
