Bracelets from Purple Phoenix Jewelry

The hand-selected crystals and healing stones are what make Purple Phoenix Jewelry so special. With a variety of colors and textures, these bracelets and necklaces are found at local shops around town including Crystal Wand Creations, the downtown Kokomo Farmer’s Market or online at www.purplephoenixjewelry.com. These bracelets are a perfect gift for a friend or yourself!

Breaded Tenderloin Sandwich from Barker’s B&K

Barker’s is one of my top favorite local spots to get a tenderloin, whether you prefer grilled or breaded, you’re in for a really good sandwich. Choose your favorite toppings, add a side of fries or corn nuggets, and a root beer, and call it a day.

Barker’s is located at 1100 E. Markland Ave., Kokomo

Fried Green Tomatoes from Lucky Lemon Bakery

It’s fried green tomato season! Lucky Lemon has a perfect option for a light and delicious meal for summer. Whether you’re vegan or not, you’ll enjoy the crunchy crust of the fried tomato, the red pepper jelly and the made-in-house creamy almond cashew “cheese.” Don’t wait; these won’t last long!

Lucky Lemon is located at 3015 S. LaFountain St., Kokomo
