The Kokomo Post Picks of the Week - Feb. 23

Hey, Kokomo! Welcome to our Kokomo Post Picks, where our staffers pick the things they’re enjoying from all around our favorite city! In no particular order:

Guided Canvas Classes at B&B Creative Studio

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to go far to experience a guided canvas painting class. At B&B Creative Studio at 1022 S. Main St., Kokomo, you can sign up for a class with a minimum of six of your besties (with room for 50) for just $20 per person!

At a recent event I attended there, we were able to pre-select what we wanted to paint and bring snacks and drinks for a fun night out. All you have to do is just show up ready to paint! All materials are included in the $20 fee, and children’s classes with stencils are also available.

Breaded Tenderloin Sandwich from Arties Tenderloin

At 922 S. Main St., you’ll find a locally owned restaurant that’s been serving our community since 1938, making it the longest-running restaurant in Kokomo. No matter how you like your tenderloins, there are plenty of ways to make it your own and enjoy this classic Hoosier staple.

Arties is open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day except Sundays. So stop in and grab a bite at this quaint diner with a hometown feel.

Ax Kingz Ax Throwing and Rage Room

Throw (or smash) the winter blues away at Ax Kingz! Whether you’re looking to try your hand at making a bullseye or taking out your rage with a hammer or a bat, you can do it here. Head over to 2933 S. Washington St., Kokomo for a smashing good time!
