Hey, Kokomo! Welcome to our Kokomo Post Picks, where our staffers pick the things they’re enjoying from all around our favorite city! In no particular order:

Pina Loca at Don Panchos Mexican Bar and Grill

We all have a go-to menu item that’s just so good you refuse to try anything else. This is mine. It’s half of a pineapple shell, with your choice of grilled meat (I chose steak), onions, bell peppers, grilled pineapple pieces — all smothered with Chihuahua cheese.

Enjoy it with a side of Mexican rice and sweet plantains for a perfect meal. 10/10

Bleached Flannels from Annmarie’s Boutique

Don’t miss getting this wardrobe staple for fall! With tons of colors to choose from, each bleached flannel is unique to you. Dress it up; dress it down. This versatile piece will be the perfect addition to your closet.

Wildcat Creek Walk of Excellence Pavilion

While walking on the Walk of Excellence Trail the other day, I re-stumbled upon this hidden pavilion area. Located directly behind Kokomo Municipal Stadium, this space is perfect for a relaxing picnic on the trail! With a path down to Wildcat Creek, you don’t have to go far to experience nature in downtown Kokomo!

What do you think Kokomo? We want to hear your picks of the week!
