Downtown Kokomo’s music scene just got even better with the opening of Hargrove Music Group, providing locals with a one-stop-shop for all their musical needs. From guitars and drums to accessories and more, this store caters to a wide range of musical tastes and styles.

With its prime location on Buckeye Street, this shop is sure to become another hub for the local music community and a destination for anyone looking to explore their musical interests. While the store is brand new to the brick street in Kokomo, the person behind the operations is well seasoned and a familiar face in the community.

Owner Tim Hargrove, previously the face of Indiana Music Garage said this project has been a natural progression.

“The transition from Indiana Music Garage to Hargrove Music Group has actually been easy.” he went on to say “Indiana Music Garage was a great shop, and hate to see it close, yet from a personal standpoint, this was the next step.”

As you step into the new music store, your senses are immediately overwhelmed by the sights of musical instruments and equipment. The walls are lined with guitars, drums and lighting equipment while other walls are lined with amplifiers and accessories. And while the sights are impressive and overwhelming, you will experience a casual, friendly and knowledgeable experience.

“Each musician’s specific needs [are] vital to Hargrove Music Group, and I’m happy to provide a space where musicians can to explore different options is one of many ways to aid in their growth,” he said. “… I love this area, and so happy to be a part of this awesome community.”

Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a beginner, Hargrove Music Group welcomes you to come check out their new location and to experience the impressive atmosphere for yourself.
