New Buffet Opens in Kokomo!
Since the buzz started last year with a temporary banner hanging on the exterior of 1803 E. Markland Ave. building, located next to Hobby Lobby, Kokomo has been eagerly awaiting the grand opening of Ichiban Buffet & Grill. And now, the moment we've all been waiting for has arrived! With doors swung open wide, Ichiban welcomes guests to step inside and experience everything that they have to offer.
Stepping through the doors of Ichiban, our first impression was a good one. The space has undergone a transformation with modern decor and lighting making for an enjoyable experience. From the colorful lighting to glistening tile buffet tables, from fun and cultural decor to other modern amenities, Ichiban offers an inviting atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
Manager Ivy Chen said the choice to locate in Kokomo was a simple one.
“We enjoy Kokomo and think it’s a great area," she said.
And judging by the excitement buzzing within the restaurant, Kokomo is eager to see what they have to offer.
With a focus on international cuisine, Ichiban offers an array of dishes from various countries. On our visit, we saw flavorful kimchi, savory Korean BBQ, seafood, sushi, lobster, short ribs and more.
But the adventure doesn't end there! Ichiban offers an impressive selection of signature drinks, including bubble teas, fruit drinks, smoothies, and more, adding a special touch to the restaurant.
Ichiban also features a spacious game room equipped with claw machines, racing games, Dance Central, and more.
Chen said Ichiban offers a large party room at the back of the restaurant, perfect for hosting birthday parties or other gatherings with friends and family.
Now, let's talk about pricing. At Ichiban, they offer buffet pricing starting at $11.99 for lunch and $15.99 for dinner. And with military and senior discounts available, lunch pricing drops to $10.99.
