Carver Community Center Youth Basketball Leagues

Carver Center Middle School Girls Basketball League
New this year, the Carver Community Center is offering a girls middle school basketball league. This is for girls looking to expand their skills and play outside of or in addition to their school team. Starting Oct. 2, 2023, online at http://www.kokomocarver.org/youth-league.html youth can register as an individual player to be placed on a team or as an organized team. Club Kokomo Roadrunners

Youth in grade K-12 interested in walking or running can be a part of Kokomo’s local running community as a member of Club Kokomo Roadrunners. There is an annual membership fee of $5 (January-December) that gives members special benefits including access to a widespread race calendar where members earn points toward age group awards at the end of the year. Registration can be completed can be completed online or by mail. There is no deadline to register but the annual club membership begins January 1st to track annual miles and race points.

Junior Group Clinics at the Howard County Tennis Center

The Howard County Tennis Center located in Greentown, offered private tennis lessons and a variety of clinics for youth of all ages. Clinics are offered in four different seven-week sessions ranging from October through March. You can register now for Session 2 (begins Dec. 2), Session 3 (begins Jan. 28), and Session 4 (begins March 10). Discounts are available with your Howard County Tennis Center membership and by prepaying for sessions or private lessons. They will also pro-rate sessions for those who join in late. Recreational Basketball League
ONE Church is offering a recreational (non-competitive) basketball league for boys and girls who are 6-12 years old. Registration is available now until Wednesday, Nov. 1. There will be Cubs teams for 6-9 year olds and Lions teams for 10-12 year olds and sign-up is on a first-come, first-served basis. Volleyball Clinic
ONE Church is offering a recreational (non-competitive) Volleyball Clinic for boys and girls ages 8-14. Registration is available now through Nov. 3. There will be a junior clinic of 10 players for ages 8-11, and a senior clinic of 10 players for players ages 12-14. Sign-up is on a first-come, first-served basis.
