Hey, Kokomo! Welcome to our Kokomo Post Picks of the week where our staffers and interns pick the things they’re enjoying from all around our favorite city! In no particular order:

Simple Goodness Products from Eclectic Me
One of the newest boutiques in town, Eclectic Me, features a variety of gift-worthy items. This week’s first pick is the Simple Goodness products at Eclectic Me. These products are handmade in Elwood, IN, with simple, local ingredients that result in some of our favorite soaps and lotions. The fragrance variety is divine and the quality competes with luxury department store brands.

Tacos from El Borrego
These aren’t just any tacos; these are tacos from El Borrego - one of our favorite downtown spots.
These tacos are served Mexican-style with cilantro and onion. In this particular order, we had chicken, steak and chorizo tacos and - although each taco is delicious - the chorizo is the clear winner.

Pickle Pizza from Oscar’s Pizza
Our final pick this week is the pickle pizza from Oscar’s Pizza. It’s no secret that we love Oscar’s around here. If you’ve tasted any of their pies, you know why. One of the menu items became an instant addition to our Picks.
It’s pickle pizza. Ahh… the things dreams are made of. Oscar’s near-perfect pizza crust with a schmear of garlic butter, mozzarella cheese, dill pickles and black pepper. Absolute fire.
