The Kokomo Post Picks of the Week - June 3

Hey, Kokomo! Welcome to our Kokomo Post Picks, where our staffers pick the things they’re enjoying from all around our favorite city! In no particular order:

The Strawberry Festival downtown Kokomo

Our first pick of the week is one of our favorite annual events in Kokomo. The Strawberry Festival is returning to downtown Kokomo for its 24th year.

This year, the festival has expanded to feature local artists - check out this article to learn more. But all of our Strawberry Festival favorites are back this year - live music from local artists on the Rhum Academy Stage, food trucks, vendors, a petting zoo, and so much more.

Chicken Pesto Pizza from Stoney’s Sourdough Pizza Co.

Our second pick this week is the Chicken Pesto Pizza from Stoney’s Sourdough Pizza Co. During a recent episode of The Kokomo Post Tries, this was a stand-out favorite.
Stoney’s makes the pesto in-house. It’s fresh and flavorful and outrageously delicious. Then, their signature sourdough crust is covered with chicken and cheese and baked to perfection! Change up your typical pepperoni order and give this a try.

Locally Made Products from Sylvie’s Oil

The final pick this week is the natural body care products from Sylvie’s Oil. These locally made products use aromatherapy and essential oils to create beautifully fragranced body sprays, soaps and bath bombs.
And, if you’re looking for a natural alternative to chemical-loaded bug sprays, try the Mosquito Spray from Sylvie’s Oil made right here in Kokomo.

What do you think Kokomo? We want to hear your picks of the week!
