The Kokomo Post Picks of the Week - Jan. 28

Hey, Kokomo! Welcome to our Kokomo Post Picks of the week where our staffers and interns pick the things they’re enjoying from all around our favorite city! In no particular order:

BBQ from Farm 2 Fork

Farm 2 Fork is one of Kokomo’s best BBQ spots. We are loving the creative menu items (a burrito with mac and cheese inside? pickle fries?) but the classic ‘three meat two side’ meal never disappoints. The pulled pork and waffle fries are probably great leftovers, but there’s no way to know when you clean your plate every. single. time.

Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri from Half Moon

Reminder: there are other beverages besides beer to enjoy at Half Moon Restaurant & Brewery. This pick of the week is the classic strawberry daiquiri - but make it virgin. Adults and kids alike can enjoy this non-boozy beverage - and be honest, drinking a mocktail topped with whipped cream takes your meal to the next level. This daiquiri is delish!

Breaded Tenderloin from Barker’s B&K

In Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, the sight of a groundhog named Phil and his shadow is the big event that points towards spring. In Kokomo, Indiana, we submit: when Barker’s B&K opens for the season, spring might be around the corner?

Let’s be real, it’s still very much January and very much winter. Regardless, the Markland Avenue staple opened for the season this week and our hankering for a breaded tenderloin from our favorite drive-in was satisfied.

What do you think Kokomo? We want to hear your picks of the week!
