The Kokomo Post Picks of the Week - Feb. 5
Hey, Kokomo! Welcome to our Kokomo Post Picks of the week where our staffers and interns pick the things they’re enjoying from all around our favorite city! In no particular order:
Gumbo from Poulard’s Cajun Cuisine
The best lunch of the week, hands down, was the gumbo from Poulard’s. It’s their signature family recipe that makes it extra special. The gumbo is served over rice and served with bread.
Local Art at Mo Joe’s Coffee
For the Boomers: Glad you’re here! There is unique art at a coffee shop downtown.
For my Gen X and Millennial peers: This is the iconic Central Perk coffee shop from FRIENDS, recreated in Kokomo.
For Gen Z.: This is an eclectic coffee house with vibey art on the walls, ceiling and floor.
Several local artists have their pieces on display at Mo Joe’s, and I love the collection. Many items are for sale, and what a fun way to add personality to your Kokohome than supporting our local artists.
Make Positivity Louder Merch
Admittedly, this is a shameless plug. But the merch we’ve been talking about for a while now is here and we are real-life starry eye emojis at our office.
Every piece is locally designed, locally hand-made, and beautifully printed right here in Kokomo. The added bonuses of softness, versatility, and an incredible message go without saying.
Treat yo’ self this weekend and *digitally* link arms with us to Make Positivity Louder. Shop here.
What do you think Kokomo? We want to hear your picks of the week!
