Sanderson Sister Bleach Tee from Rosewood Market

Although it’s August, several of us are ready for spooky season. Rosewood Market is a local boutique we’ve had our eye on for a while now. All of the shop’s home decor and apparel items are on-trend, and their prices are refreshingly affordable.

This Sanderson Sister bleach tee pays homage to one of the most iconic Halloween movies there is, “Hocus Pocus.” Whether you’re a Winifred, a Sarah or a Mary, this tee is for you. You only have until 8 p.m. Saturday to pre-order, so now’s your chance.

Lavender Chocolate Iced Latte from Doubting Thomas

Do we have an insider tip for you! The Single Ladies Iced Latte is technically off the menu, but the baristas at Doubting Thomas (inside Cross America) will know what you mean and they'll make it for you!

It’s a lavender chocolate iced latte. You read that correctly. Honestly? If you’re looking for a signature summer drink, this is it.

CommuniTee Giveback to benefit Kokomo Urban Outreach

The CommuniTee Giveback Program is an initiative of The Kokomo Post to raise awareness and funds for local nonprofit organizations. This month’s nonprofit is Kokomo Urban Outreach. The UP™ Program was established in November 2016, starting with young men, 10-18 years old, but has grown to include StepUP for girls and MiniUP™, for children ages 3-9. In all three programs, young people learned to live by the four Rs, I am Respectful, I am Responsible, I am Reliable, and I am Ready, as well as learning how to work. UP™ stands for Unlimited Potential, as the program believes all children have untapped potential.

100 percent of the proceeds from this month’s T-shirt sales go straight to the Up Program. Do Good, Look Good this weekend and shop here.

What do you think Kokomo? We want to hear your picks of the week!
