Hey, Kokomo! Welcome to our Kokomo Post Picks, where our staffers pick the things they’re enjoying from all around our favorite city! In no particular order:

Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookie from Stoney’s Sourdough Pizza Co

This first pick of the week might seem unusual because - have you ever heard of a sourdough chocolate chip cookie? This unusual combo works so well. This chocolate chip cookie is giant - a family of four could easily share this dish. It’s cakey, it’s not overly sweet, and it’s the perfect ending to a pizza night.
Worth a try!

Breaded Portabellas from Julianno’s

These breaded portabellas are little pieces of heaven. This might be my new favorite appetizer in Kokomo.

These slices of mushroom are hand-breaded and lightly fried to perfection. There is a choice of dipping sauce, and we went with ranch. Juliano’s does it right!

Vegan Gyro Salad from Lucky Lemon

Our final pick this week caught me by surprise. When I saw this vegan gyro salad on my Facebook feed earlier in the week, I tagged our managing editor, Erin, and asked her if she wanted to try this with me. She agreed, and as soon as we dug into this salad, it blew my mind.
Gyro salads are one of my lunches and this vegan gyro salad surpassed my expectations. So delicious.

What do you think Kokomo? We want to hear your picks of the week!
