Hey Kokomo! Welcome back to another part of our new blog series that is covering Thanksgiving recipes from some of our favorite Kokomo local chefs! Today we have one of the sweetest chefs out there, Mr. James Edward from J. Edwards Fine Chocolates And Gourmet Cakes here in Kokomo.

When I first reached out to James asking if he would want to be involved in this blog series, he probably thought I was asking him to give up his highly coveted cake recipe. But I surprised him when I asked him for a savory recipe, and he did not disappoint. James actually supplied us with two recipes! On this post we’ll cover his Mac And Cheese recipe and you’ll have to come back later to see what his second recipe is!

Mac And Cheese

Ingredients:
6 Cups Elbow Macaroni

1 1/2 Cups Salted Butter, Melted

2 Tablespoons Salt

1/3 Teaspoon White Pepper

1 lb Velveeta Cheese

3/4 lb Sharp Chedder Cheese Shredded

3/4 lb Monterey Jack-Colby Cheese, Shredded

9 Cups Milk

Instructions:
Boil Macaroni for 4 minutes, or until al dente.

Grease pan and layer macaroni, salt, pepper, cheeses and 1/4 cup butter.

Fill pan with milk from corner of pan.

Bake 1 - 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees

Enjoy!

A special Thank You to each of our Kokomo chefs for sharing their recipes!
