‘Hidden Gem’ - Noun. Something possessing a value or beauty that is not immediately apparent, which therefore has received far less recognition than it deserves.

Welcome to Heidi’s Hidden Gems, a blog series where I help you discover businesses, experiences, food and restaurants you need to know about but may have missed. Join me as I give you all the details you need to experience these hidden gems in Kokomo!

Christmas has arrived in Kokomo and one Christmas family activity stands out from the rest: Christmas at The Seiberling. This immaculate mansion is decorated top to bottom for Christmas and on select nights, entry is free! Keep reading this blog to find out more information!

Admission for Christmas at The Seiberling is $10 a person for adults and $5 for children 18 years and under.

There will also be multiple sponsored nights where guests can enjoy The historic Seiberling for free thanks to sponsors, including Ivy Tech Kokomo, Community First Bank, Holiday Inn Express, Financial Builders Credit Union and First Farmers Bank & Trust.

Sponsored nights are from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16.

Free candlelight tours sponsored by Duke Energy will be offered from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17. The lights inside of the Seiberling will be lowered during this time for an elegant “candlelight” Christmas experience.
