Heidi’s Hidden Gems - Breakfast from Artie’s Tenderloin

Arties Tenderloin is Kokomo’s longest-running restaurant. Having served Kokomo breakfast and lunch since 1938, this may not be a “hidden gem” but I hadn’t had the chance to divulge in an Artie’s breakfast experience…until now.

Artie’s is located at 922 S. Main St., Kokomo.

The classic American diner takes you back in time. This cozy space encourages you to talk to the people next to you especially because you can see all four corners of the restaurant from the front door.

But the small size of this restaurant shouldn’t drive you away — because big flavor (and nostalgia) awaits right here in Kokomo.

I took the chef’s recommendation — a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich with wheat bread.

This classic sandwich combo was so good that this is the only photo I got.

Their breakfast menu also consists of pancakes, french toast and other classic options.

It was fantastic and you need to try it for yourself, so stop by Artie’s to check it out!

They are open daily from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and closed on Sundays.

Do you have a hidden gem I should go check out? Tell me about it in the comments!
