Somers Park recently received a major upgrade, including the addition of Kokomo's first Fitcore Extreme Obstacle Course. This new feature offers an exciting way for kids to play and test their abilities outdoors. With shorter days approaching, the park provides a great spot for after-school playtime. Free Vision Screenings
Very Early Childhood Education Center
10 a.m. to noon | Monday, Nov. 11 | 1608 Kirk Row, Kokomo, IN

The Very Early Childhood Education Center, now in its new location, is hosting monthly events for families with children under five. This month, they’re partnering with the Greentown Lions Club and the Children’s Eye Foundation to offer free vision screenings, allowing parents to check on their child's eye health. Families can drop by between 10 a.m. and noon on Monday Nov. 11, take part in the screening, enjoy activities, and bring home a new book for their little ones.
