Hey Kokomo! It’s that time of the week again. Our staff with kids are happy to share a few of the places their kids like to eat, play, and learn in and around Howard County. Check out this week’s picks for yourself!

This delicious appetizer and cultured pub experience is now open to be shared with our kids. While we love the opportunity to go out on our own for date nights, we love sharing good food and going out to eat with our kids. The boys were very excited to try the balls, but it was nap time so we opted to carry out.
We enjoyed them as a family, and the kids discovered that the dip also tastes good on crackers and veggies. It’s safe to say we will be dining in as a family soon. The Irish Pub is ready to serve your little Irish ones with high chairs, and booster seats available. Those under the age of 21 are welcome to dine at the pub with an adult aged 21 or over and be seated before 9 p.m. For an updates and menu options, check out their Facebook Page or Website.

What may seem like a distant childhood memory still exists in our city. The northside McDonald’s location is one of the few remaining Playplace McDonald’s. If you haven’t visited in a while, now is your chance! Families are welcome to dine-in and play daily from 8 a.m.-10 p.m.
The play area has two spaces for big kids and toddlers, where the big kids area has many climbing levels and access to a curvy slide. In addition to the play place the dining area has a special lighted table that reacts to touch like a game. You can stop at McDonald’s anytime, but Thursday nights from 5-8 p.m. are their weekly McFamily Fun Night with special activities for families and kids.

Wiggles & Giggles Class at Legacy Dance Academy

Legacy Dance Academy is offering a new weekly class called Wiggles & Giggles for boys and girls ages 18 months to 3 years old. The class is a great opportunity to spend time with a caregiver practicing their motor skills and listening skills with some basic stretches, dance steps, and an obstacle course. Classes are 45 minutes and are held on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:15 a.m. Registration is open now for the next 4 week session beginning right after Thanksgiving. Be sure to contact Legacy Dance Academy for more information about this new class or other classes available at this time.
