Cheeseburgers and Crowns at Burger King

One of our lunches last week called for burgers, so we found ourselves at a local Burger King on Arrow Street. The kids had the simple selection of plain cheeseburgers and shared a box of chicken fries, but the true highlight of lunch was leaving with a new Burger King crown. There is a special Whopper promotion going on through the month of March and the new crowns have dollar signs ($$) on them. As we drove home, there was chatter in the backseat about being kings for the day and what their royal names were. Stop by with your favorite little royals for lunch, dinner, or a quick snack (maybe a Hershey’s Sundae Pie) and get one of those special crowns to add some extra fun to your day.

Family Yoga Class at Fierce Yoga

Fierce Yoga has been operating since 2022, but just opened its new studio in downtown Kokomo earlier this year. The staff at Fierce is hoping to offer many special events in the coming months, and we were able to visit the first of the new family yoga classes being offered monthly at Fierce Yoga a couple weeks ago. The whole family is welcome to come and enjoy a friendly flow suitable for all levels and ages. The class enjoyed some short dance parties, meditation, and a special group activity in addition to the yoga flow. Kids Classes at Kokomo Opalescent Glass

In addition to the array of specialty glass classes offered at Kokomo Opalescent Glass already, they are now offering classes for kids. Kids of all ages are welcome to participate in upcoming glass classes with a guardian present. Classes are limited in size so be sure to register quickly online. Due to the nature of working with glass, safety is a priority when working at the Op Shop. All class participants and guardians present should prepare to attend class wearing closed-toed shoes, and a pair of safety glasses will be provided by KOG for all to wear. The next available kids classes are coming up on March 9 and 23. In anticipation of Easter, these kids classes will be painting a glass Easter egg.
