In Tuesday’s varsity baseball matchup, Eastern defeated Carroll with a final score of 7-3. Carroll took an early lead with three runs in the first two innings.
Eastern fought back in the fourth through the sixth innings, scoring six runs. Eastern's pitcher also put in a strong performance, allowing only three runs and striking out seven batters. Corbin Snyder – 7 IP, 3 R, 3 ER, 4 H, 4 BB, 8 K.
With this victory, Eastern improves their record to 16-5 while Carroll drops to 9-7. Both teams will continue to compete and look for success in their upcoming games.
