Artist Alley Welcomes A New Rotation of Artwork
Artist Alley in Kokomo has once again transformed with a fresh rotation of artwork, continuing the Greater Kokomo Downtown Association and the Kokomo Art Association’s mission to make art accessible to the entire community.
What began as a run-of-the-mill alleyway has blossomed into a vibrant pedestrian space where the public can enjoy stunning pieces created by local artists year-round.
In the 11 years since its inception, Artist Alley has given artists the opportunity to show off their work while providing Kokomo with free access to local art 24/7, 365.
With new pieces now on display, the alley offers a fresh perspective for visitors. Each year, local artists submit their work and a selection of 15 pieces is chosen for installation. These rotating exhibits ensure that the art remains fresh, inviting residents and visitors to engage with new ideas and creative expressions.
As Kokomo Art Association's president Cheryl Sullivan expressed the importance of keeping the community engaged with new art.
"Getting new artists in and new perspectives and new ideas is important."
The new exhibit is now available at Artist Alley, located at 210 N. Main St. in downtown Kokomo. Be sure to visit and experience the latest works from Kokomo’s talented artists and check out photos of the new pieces below.
