St Patrick’s Day is here again and because it’s a Wednesday, you can enjoy festivities all week! Here’s our list of the best ways to celebrate a Kokomo St Patrick’s Day.
Dinner Time
Half Moon Restaurant & Brewery always has their very tasty Stoplight City Irish Style Red on tap, but for some special St. Patrick’s Day flair they will also be serving Mulligan Stew, corned beef and cabbage, and shepherd’s pie — plus green beer!
Windmill Grill will be turning up their Irish appeal with corned beef and cabbage prepared by their team.
Irish faire -- including corned beef, cabbage and green beer — will be on the menu all day at Grindstone Charleys.
Black Wax Cafe has a special ShamRock and Roll Frappe, just in time for St. Patty’s Day. Head over and check it out!
For dessert, head on over to Cone Palace, where they’ll have their delicious mint chocolate chip soft serve all week!
Nightlife
To make up for last year, The Coterie is holding three separate St Patrick’s Day parties! Check out Debbie Lanning and Bob Auth on Wednesday, March 17, and The Warrior Kings on Saturday, March 20. Enjoy their fantastic kitchen all week, with a special Shepherd’s Pie Burger on the 17th!
Of course, the classic Kokomo St. Patrick’s Day is always at Cook McDoogal’s Irish Pub. They’ll be having their traditional party on Friday, March 19, with two bands playing upstairs. Opening the show from 7-8:30 p.m. is Diverging Approach, and headlining the show is Kokomo favorite Barefoot Murphy from 9 p.m. to midnight.
St. Patrick’s Day is like the Super Bowl for Cook McDoogal’s. Their Irish-themed food is delicious every day, but that reuben is killer. Don’t sleep on that.
