4th of July weekend in Kokomo
Hey Kokomo! 2020 has been quite the year. And here we are, on the heels of 4th of July long weekend. We’ve asked around and although our beloved Haynes-Apperson fireworks display is cancelled, there are still local fireworks you can enjoy this Independence Day. Check it out:
Tipton County
The ‘God Bless the USA’ Sky Concert is happening at the Tipton County 4-H Fairgrounds, 1200 S Main St, Tipton, starting around 10:00 pm.
Howard County
The Greentown Lions Club is presenting their annual a display of fireworks on July 4th at the Howard County 4-H Fairgrounds. Visitors are asked to stay in their cars, and there are no personal fireworks allowed. For more information, visit here.
Miami County
Peru Fireworks will be hosted around 10 pm, music will be set to the display, Maconaquah Park, 1496 Strawtown Pike, Peru. Social distancing will be required, remember the 6-foot rule. Face masks are requested, and hand sanitizer should be brought with you if you plan on attending.
