Whyte Horse Winery Prepares for Grand Opening

Whyte Horse Winery and Bistro is set for its grand opening with a celebration running from Friday through Sunday.

Half of the winery has been transformed into a modern destination with the tasting room featuring whimsical light fixtures, brightly colored furniture and overall a fun atmosphere.

The celebration will feature a full menu including foods such as charcuterie boards, mezze plates, spankoptia and more shareable options, according to owner Amanda Crain. And, of course a large selections of wines including the popular wine slushies and flights.

The grand opening marks the start of a new chapter for the winery, and Crain said she’s looking forward to bringing not only great food and wine to Kokomo, but also live entertainment, trivia nights, themed weeks and more. The grand re-opening will be 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday March 31 and Saturday April 1, and noon-6 p.m. Sunday April 2.
