It’s easy to say that Kokomo is so boring when you don’t know what’s going on in town. Even our kids love telling us how dull life can get when your days all look the same. We’re here with a new weekly fun calendar, hoping to encourage you and your family to try something new and experience more of what Kokomo has to offer. Take a look and tell them we sent you!


  • Monday, Oct. 30, 2023

    • Open Play at Sweet Peas Play Cafe | 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

      Recommended Ages 0-8

      Did you know that your “play pass” or fee to play at Sweet Peas allows you to play all day? You can stop by to play in the morning, go home, eat lunch, take a nap, and come back for more. On weekdays you can be an early bird (arrive between 8-9 a.m.) and get your playpasses for half price!

  • Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023

    • Happy Halloween!
      City Wide Trick-Or-Treat Hours | 5-8 p.m.

      Whether you plan to go out in a stylish costume or stay in and share treats with your neighbors, Tuesday night is Halloween. Enjoy a safe and fun Trick-Or-Treating experience this year nearby or by checking out our 2024 Halloween Guide. Don’t forget to take your kids by Cone Palace in their costumes for a special treat!

      This event kicks off KHCPL’s annual celebration of “Dinovember” with all kinds of opportunities to stomp and roar like a dinosaur. On the lower level of KHCPL Main, there will be art, games and the chance to learn more about the animals of the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous time periods.     • Paint Pottery at Fired Arts Studio | 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

      Artists of all ages and abilities are welcome to express themselves by decorating a beautiful piece of pottery at Fired Arts Studio. You can come any time during their regular business hours and choose one of almost 100 pre-fired pieces of pottery ranging from $2-$100. There is a $5 studio fee per painter and groups are welcome, but calling ahead is appreciated. You can find more details about their upcoming workshops and the painting process on their website.

  • Friday, Nov. 3, 2023

    • First Friday ‘Shop & Stroll’ in Downtown Kokomo
      5-9 p.m.

      After dinner, head downtown for a stroll through some of your favorite small businesses for the Shop & Stroll! Businesses will be open late and vendors will be set up along the square. There are also special events happening outside of the square so be sure to check out the First Friday Facebook page for the map of all your shopping stops.

      Fun for the whole family

      Check out Gravity Trampoline Park on Saturdays for Open Jump from 11 AM-10 PM and Toddler/Sensory Time from 10-11 a.m. Open Jump allows the whole family to jump around the entire park listening to the top music hits at $15 per hour of jump time. Gravity Trampoline Park is a great way to finish a great weekend with food, music, and fun. Don’t forget your Gravity grip socks!

      If you want to get out of the house on Sunday before the weekend officially ends, call Heritage Lanes to check for open bowling availability. They are open from 1-8 p.m. on Sundays and a group of five can bowl for an hour for $35 (that includes those fancy bowling shoes). Bowling is an easy and fun activity for the whole family and you can grab some grub at Roddy’s while you’re there. Check out their website and Facebook page for last-minute updates.
