We’re here with a new weekly fun calendar, hoping to encourage you and your family to try something new and experience more of what Kokomo has to offer. Looking for a fun, family-friendly way to get moving? Drums Alive is a fitness program designed for all ages and abilities. The program engages participants in cardio drumming with fun and upbeat music. Everyone can participate at their own pace and comfort level. Be sure to register for these events as there are limited spots available. You can register on the KHCPL Website and see when other classes are available under the events tab.

Preschool STEAM is a short activity time that allows children to take part in hands-on experiments and activities related to science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Did you know that Matinee shows before 4 p.m. at our AMC Kokomo are all 30 percent off the regular ticket prices? This is another great way to spend a free weeknight. The adults can enjoy their choice of movies this week but some options for families include “Wonka,” “Migration,” and “Dreamworks Trolls: Band Together” for our PG viewers then we have “The Color Purple,” “Aquaman,” and the “Lost Kingdom,” “The Boys in the Boat,” and “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” for our PG-13 viewing audience. Recommended for youth ages 8-13
The Discovery Center at KHCPL Main will be hosting a Winter Perler Wonderland from 4-6 PM this Thursday. Youth ages 8-13 can join in creating pixel art with perler beads with their peers. Together they will celebrate with winter season and create fun and colorful shapes using the many colors of perler beads and supplies provided. This is a NEW workshop where artists ages 3 and up are welcome to express themselves by decorating a beautiful piece of pottery at Fired Arts Studio with a parent or guardian. The workshop will begin with a story read aloud and then transition to a fun-themed project related to the story. A reservation is required because seating is limited. Depending on interest and participation this new workshop series will be offered twice a month in the coming months. You can find more details about this workshop and more on their website.

Make Sunday a funday and call Heritage Lanes to check for open bowling availability. They have open bowling from 1 -8 p.m. on Sundays and a group of five can bowl for an hour for $35 (that includes those fancy bowling shoes).
